Redesign & Improvement Project
The Trucknet mobile apps, comprising the Driver app and Tracker app, required new features and a redesigned application flow. This necessitated starting the design from scratch. While creating the new flow, I also updated the old design to give it a modern appearance, taking advantage of the ongoing renewal process.

The Driver App
The driver app is designed for truck drivers to efficiently transport cargo. It enables drivers to quickly update shipment statuses, ensuring seamless coordination and communication throughout the journey.

Andrei Dumitru, 42
Truck Driver
A truck driver from Bucharest, supports his family of four with his wife, Maria, and their two children.
While not a tech enthusiast, he navigates basic smartphone apps for communication and route optimization. Financially stable but budget-conscious, Andrei values simplicity in technology that aids his practical needs.
The Tracker App
The tracker app caters to Sender and Receiver users, the customers in the supply chain. This application helps users to effortlessly monitor the real-time location and status of their shipments at any given moment.

Elena Popescu, 35
Customer, Cargo Warehouse Owner, Receiver
Manages incoming shipments at a warehouse in Cluj-Napoca. Growing up in a logistics-oriented family, she values efficiency in cargo handling.
Comfortable with tech tools, Elena uses inventory management software and communication apps to streamline her tasks.

Both apps shares data with each other, such as Location, Signatures and Ride Statuses,
& have the ability to connect via chat and send files.
Tracker app
Operation System
Many of our users live in Romania. Following user research, we discovered that the preferred devices among them are Android. Consequently, we’ve chosen to develop both apps to be compatible with both operating systems, Android and iOS.
Initially, facing the challenge of designing for both operating systems, especially as an iOS user, was a bit demanding. However, it ultimately led me to a valuable learning experience, exploring various libraries, frameworks, and understanding their differences.
